Italian Art Pottery and other 60s Vintage Finds

It was a great weekend for vintage treasure hunting and I found some really cool things!  First, I snagged some great Italian Art Pottery from the 60s.  These two are my favorite find:

This pair of shelf sitters is by mid century modernist Marcello Fantoni for Raymor.  I am so happy to find the caveman and cavewoman together in such excellent condition.

This pair of salt and pepper shakers were also a great find in excellent condition:

What cute couple.
This is a King and Queen salt and pepper shaker set from the 60s marked Italy.
I'm not sure, but they could be Raymor.

Besides art pottery, I found some other great mid century items, like this oil painting:

I love the colors in this painting.  It is signed either "TVD" or "FVE"
If you have any idea who that might be, let me know!

Please excuse the lighting in this picture, it doesn't do this lovely George Briard Serving Platter and Tray justice.

Very Hollywood Regency, I would say.  24K Gold on Glass.  Love it.

I adore these handcarved  bookends marked "Italy"
I think they are marble and stone, but not sure exactly what kind.  They are perched on top of a sweet little tin I picked up for a few bucks.  I always grab cute tins for storing odds and ends, they are always cheap and so functional.

Other than mid century pieces, I do have a few other finds I'm excited about.

I love bringing natural elements inside, so I had to buy these -
an amethyst geode and some sort of polished and sliced stones.

Finally, last but not least, I picked up this colorful Mexican basket.

It's the perfect size to store odds and ends by the front door!

I'm so happy with my recent finds!
